Anne’s June Update and Musings – Animal Communication

I saw an amazing show the other day about a woman named Heidi Wright. She is an animal communicator. And by that, I mean that she telepathically converses with animals. Pretty cool! Imagine what you could learn if you could really speak with your pet, not to your pet!

Heidi has held workshops since 2007, teaching other people how to telepathically communicate with animals. And she shared that she fully believes that all people have this ability. In fact, in all of the workshops that she has held, she has a 100% hit rate on all of her students being able to do this and have the information validated by the animal owner. She shared that animals pick up on very personal things in their surroundings.

She told a story about visiting a couple that had just moved into a new home and their dog was having some issues. So, she worked with the dog to understand more. As she provided that feedback to the owners, she said that she was aware that the couple was planning to get married. In shock and alarm, the couple said that no one knew that yet. Heidi replied that their dog knew. LOL.

For those of us who are close to animals, I think this would be super fun! I don’t currently have any pets, but I do love to interact with all of the animals that live around my home. So, I decided to start practicing animal communication with them. Heidi said that you should first introduce yourself to the animal. Tell them your name and why you want to talk with them. Then, being heart-centered, tell them that you love them. As you remain quiet and calm, feel into whether the animal is communicating back to you. Use your intuition to either see images or symbols in your mind’s eye, listen for messages with your inner ears or see if you feel something in your body.

And here is what happened to me.

I went outside the other morning to my blackberry bush to pick some fresh blackberries for breakfast. They were huge and luscious! As I rounded the corner to come back in the house, I saw a turtle coming my way through the mulch. He was moving right along until he saw me. Then he stopped. In my head, I introduced myself to him and conveyed that I would not hurt him. As I stood there, I got a sudden feeling to give him one of the blackberries I had just picked. So, I got a smaller one from the bowl and bent down next to him. I placed the blackberry on the ground, right in front of him.

He didn’t flinch or draw into his shell. Instead, he went right to the blackberry and with no hesitation began to devour it! If a turtle could smile, he would have been grinning ear to ear. So, I sat down and just watched him slowly and lusciously eat this blackberry. There was juice all over his face and claws as he chomped on it. I could literally feel the joy this little guy had eating that berry. And that brought me so much joy as well.

It took him about 10 minutes to eat the whole thing. And I just sat there and smiled, thanking him for such a lovely morning treat for me. And I found that it wasn’t like we were having a conversation – it was more like I felt his joy. And in return, I was allowed to spend that time with him. And get a few great pictures! I never felt any sense of fear or hesitation from him during his breakfast.

The animal spirit message for me was, savor every single moment. Taste the juice of life and let it get all over your face and hands. Dive into what life offers to you from the most unexpected places. And start talking to the animals!!!!!
