Cleo

Cleo is representative of the goddess energy from Cleopatra. She represents the energy of a warrior as she discovers and addresses the traumas and difficulties in her life. She transforms into a great warrior queen.
Ezrael

Ezrael is Cleo's guardian angel. He is pivital in Cleo's discovery adventure of herself. His unconditional love for Cleo helps her see her true self and beauty.
The Animals of the Realm of the Woods
Each animal in the book has an animal spirit, or personality, that is explored to engage Cleo in new ideas, new ways of thinking and on a path toward enlightenment. But even deeper, each animal is named after an Archangel, an Ascended Master, an Enlightened Being or a spiritual name. The personalities and teachings of that angel, etc. are also woven into the animal’s story. The traits of the animal and its sacred name are always similar in their message.
Bacchus

Bacchus is a black panther who symbolizes the unleashing of desires and awakening to the kundalini forces. He is Cleo's guide through her journey in the woods.
Black panthers symbolize a time of imminent awakening. The name Bacchus is taken from the mythical figure, Bacchus, who was nursed by panthers. He has a chariot that is pulled by black panthers.
Ariel the Ant

Ant spirit teaches us how to get to work and see things through to completion. It shows us how to use teamwork and conveys diligence, will power and patience through our inner power. The queen ant is always giving to others.

Butterfly spirit teaches us to get ready for big changes, just as the caterpillar ultimately transforms into a beautiful butterfly. It symbolizes spiritual awakening when the time is right. Butterfly also reminds us to lighten up and not to take things too seriously.
Coyote spirit helps us look for lessons in the drama that we have in our lives. He helps us forgive ourselves for our mistakes and instead see the mistakes as gifts that come from those experiences. Coyote spirit also reminds us that laughter is truly good medicine and that it is OK to be playful. He challenges us to think about the things that we have pushed down or hidden from ourselves.
Daniel the Deer

Deer spirit teaches compassion for ourselves and others. It brings a sense of calm. It helps us seek safe situations and teaches us to trust our instincts and intuition. Deer spirit also tells us that we are ready for an exciting adventure.

Emu spirit teaches us to put aside judgment and open ourselves to new ideas, while maintaining a sense of fun and light-heartedness. It is associated to the element of Earth and represents survival and adaptability as well as the joy of discovery.

Iguana spirit teaches us to bring things into balance between our responsibilities and relaxation. Iguanas have very keen eyesight, and they are always watching everything.
